FAQS

You Ask - I Answer

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THERAPY, COACHING, AND CONSULTING?

Therapy is a health care service focused on addressing emotional and psychological healing. As a therapist, I work with individuals and couples to manage clinically diagnosed disorders like anxiety and depression. Coaching is often a more  forward-focused process aimed at helping individuals and couples reach their personal and relationship goals. As a coach, I work with individuals and couples as they learn about themselves and their relationships in ways that deepen connection and improve the quality of their lives. Consulting provides specialized expertise and guidance to address specific relationship challenges or concerns. Consulting is results-driven and can be valuable for couples seeking practical solutions to relationship dilemmas or businesses looking to improve team dynamics. While each service is different, I hold myself to standards that offer safe, confidential spaces for exploration, healing, and growth.

WHAT WILL I LEARN DURING THE CONSULTATION?

A consultation gives you a chance to talk with me and get a feel for my personality and style. I would recommend you use the consultation as a gut check, and I will be doing the same. If we both feel like it could be a good fit, we schedule an appointment and get to work!

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

HOW LONG DOES EACH SESSION TAKE?

I see individuals for a minimum of one hour to start and then adjust based on goals and time.
